PCGS eCollector 'Readers' Comments'

"I enjoy the PCGS eCollector. My job took a downturn and I can't afford a lot of the publications I was subscribing to, so this is great."

Thanks,
P. Campbell,

Jaime,

"Your updates are great. I was a big EAC man, but now I am buying more early American silver coins. Did you ever get to make the changes in the Numismedia online price guide to match the Redbook? We discussed this about two weeks ago, the prices differ greatly."

Thanks,
B. Macchia

Hi Everyone,

"Just keep the PCGS eCollector coming as I enjoy them very much. It's just a great newsletter."

J. Wolff

"Keep them coming! I really enjoy reading the latest and greatest in the coin world.

I would be curious to read about other people's opinions on buying older common silver coins (Busts, Barbers, Standing, Walking etc.) as investments because of the uncounted melting. At least that is what I'm doing on my own small scale. I'm assuming the continued hikes in silver will result in a lot less available common coins thus driving up the numismatic value. I can't afford most MS, so I stick with the circulated coins to work on my sets. Thanks for newsletters!"

"Good job Jaime! I always enjoy your view of things."

"I just wanted to say thank you for putting together the PCGS eCollector. I find the articles on U.S. coins to be well-informed and they have helped me purchase genuine coins and recognize coins that may be counterfeit. Since subscribing to the eCollector, I now only purchase PCGS-graded Morgan coins and will continue to do so. Also, for the past couple of years I have been buying PCGS-graded coins on eBay. I will always check the certification number first before bidding on any coin. This year, I notified eBay that two PCGS-graded coins that were up for sale were actually PCGS Registry coins and notified the owners of the post (via their contact information or by contacting PCGS Customer Service). Fortunately, the sales were either canceled or used to catch an eBay fraudulent seller.

Please keep up the good work and helping us "small-time" collectors."
