The full set of Circulation strike Seated Halves has some real "stoppers": the 1853-O No Arrows, the 1878-S and the 1870-CC to name a few. But with a production run of just over 50 years, a Date Set of Seated Halves spans much of the 19th century and avoids the five and six-figure rarities. Yes, some of the dates in the 1840s and early 1850s may take a bit of searching, but all should be able to be located with a reasonable effort and outlay. You'll still have plenty of variety, with two series of "Arrows" coinage, both with and without Motto reverses and even a "No Drapery" variety in 1839 if you wish.
