The attractive Oregon Trail Memorial Half Dollar was struck over quite a long span of time, ranging from 1926 through 1939, though not in every year. In all, fourteen coins comprise the set, but by far, the toughest to find will be the 1939 PDS issues as the original mintage was only 3,000 pieces. These coins do come nice, with fairly ample quantities up through the MS-67/68 range.
