The David-John Silver and Golden Dream Collection Series

About This Set: This collector started out with a dream. A “Golden Dream” that he was determined to make come true. He wanted to put together the first complete set of American Gold Eagles graded by PCGS as MS-69. On 6/14/2002 he received the final grades he needed to make this goal a reality (70 coins in all). It took less than one year’s time to complete this goal. In June of 2002, this goal was modified to the “Silver and Golden Dream”. I could not have done this without the help of so many wonderful people that I have met along the way. A special thanks goes to Gary Diamond at Cameocc for giving a start and helping me learn and understand about the goal and mission I was taking on. Also, I would like to personally thank Jim Coleman, Larry Rice and Hannes Tulving for helping me locate many of these coins during the entire process. I did this at a time where very few of the gold eagles were graded and many of them had less than 10 graded MS-69. It is truly an honor to have THE FIRST COMPLETE SET EVER GRADED MS-69 BY PCGS AND FOR PCGS TO MAKE THIS AN AWARD WINNING SET FOR BEST NEW SET OF 2002.
