About this set: BOTBOTW: (1879-1904) The New Orleans mint has over the years produced several "Key" date Morgan dollars as well as other denominational coins including gold coins for the United States Treasury. The Big "O" has had several Morgan dollars with VAM markings such as the (O/O) and micro o's mint-marks and the "Hot Lips" and a severely cracked 1888-O die known as "Scarface" to add to its own history. It even shared some San Francisco dies on some of their 1882 (O/S) coins and there was the 1900-O/CC VAM variety coin which used a couple of the left over Carson City dies during the striking of some of those Morgan dollars as well. This latest addition with the 1904-O PO01 is one of the toughest circulated "O" mint dollars ever seen and was PCGS graded on 02/27/2014. This set has (4) "One of a Kind" New Orleans mint Morgan dollars helping to make it even more noteworthy. This represents a great sampling of some of the finest low ball Morgan dollars ever seen or graded this low. Lots of history and stories has followed these coins around for some time. Now they can rest easy. Thank you for your interest in this truly unique set of low ball coins. Created: 04/25/2012 - Last Upgrade: 02/27/2014
