Jaime Hernandez: The Hawaii State Quarter was oficially released into circulation on November 03, 2008. This was the fiftieth quarter design issued in the States Quarter Program. It was also the last and final design issued in the States Quarter series.
Obverse: Obverse depicts a motif of George Washington. It has the inscriptions "United States of America, In God We Trust, Liberty, Quarter Dollar" anmd it also has the P mint mark indicating that it was struck at the Philadelhia Mint.
Reverse: The reverse displays a statue of Kamehameha I. It has the ninscriptions "Hawaii 1959, 2008 Eplusribus Unum" and also "Ua Mau Ke Ea Ka Aina I Ka Pono." Translation: The life of the land is prepetuated in righeteousness.
