Jaime Hernandez: The 1959-D Jefferson Nickel is one of the more common issues in the series. However, it is also one of the issues that wasn't struck to well. Most examples have noticeable nicks and scratches while many others are weakly struck. With the Full Steps designation it is even much scarcer, especially in MS65 grade or higher. Examples in MS66 Full Steps are really scarce with few examples known.
