David Hall: There were 25,015 Bridgeport commemorative half dollars originally minted. They were sold at $2 each with a limit of 5 coins per order, so they were widely dispersed. Today, they are one of the more common commems. They are very easy to obtain in just about any grade. Even Superb MS67s are scarce only, not rare. The typical Bridgeport has semi-frosty, semi-satiny luster. Because the eagle's design is so spacious and flat, marks on the eagle's wing (which takes up about half of the reverse) are the most frequently encountered problem with this issue.
