Eagle Eye Photo Seal
1896 Snow-1 6/6 Indian cent, PCGS MS-64 RB. This is a fully lustrous and very attractive coin for the 64 grade level, whose color is predominantly brick red. The 6 is strongly re-punched, with the original image well east of the final digit.
S1 1896, 6/6 (e).
Obv. 5: (C) Wide, bold repunching visible at the top of the 6.
Rev. E: Shield points and olive leaf connected to the denticles. A full
clashed outline of the obverse portrait is visible on some examples.
The wide repunching is very interesting. This is a
very popular variety.
