David Hall: The 1863 is the highest mintage of the 1860-64 copper-nickel Indian cents and it is the easiest to find in circulated grades and mint state grades through MS64. But interestingly, in MS 65 or better condition it is much tougher to find than the 1860, 1861, and 1862.
This is usually a well struck coin. Luster and color can be bright and frosty or dull or somewhere in-between.
