Ron Guth: As in 1804, the 1805 Half Cent is found with and without stems on the reverse.  The No Stems variety is the most common of the year and is the one that is easiest to locate in nice condition. Even so, Mint State examples are relatively scarce, especially so with any of the original mint red color still remaining.  Only the Cohen 1 variety qualifies as the 1805 No Stems variety.
