Owner's Comments

Mintage: 1,720,000
Obverse Dies: 8 Known

I believe 1888 San Francisco dimes to be common in the lower circulated grades but becoming scarce in EF or better. Fairly underrated in AU and Mint State grades.

Eight obverse and reverse dies have been documented at www.seateddimevarieties.com.

Plate Coin: Fortin 103, Ahwash 2, Doubled Die Reverse, Rose Toning Throughout
