Ron Guth: The1833 Dime is one of the most common dates in the series, on par with the 1831 and 1832, but not as common as the 1835.  1833 Dime come in two varieties: one with a normal date and a second with the final 3 of the date high.

As of June 2011, PCGS has certified over 100 1833 Dimes, mostly in MS-64, then MS-63.  Gems are scarce, with MS-66 being the ultimate grade (where PCGS has certified only three examples).
