Owner's Comments

S-266C Noyes #20867. Graded by PCGS as AU55 long ago in a green-labeled holder, this coin was recently awarded a Gold sticker from CAC. In the opinion of John Albanese, the coin fully merits the grade of MS62BN! Genuine 1804 cents such as this one were recognized very early on for their rarity, leading to the production of later "restrikes" using mismatched and broken dies.
