Jaime Hernandez: The 1955-D Jefferson Nickel is fairly common and examples can still be found in circulation. It is only scarce in MS65 grade and higher. There are still many opened rolls out there with coins in MS62-MS65 quality but some MS65's or better have probably been removed and sold as singles. In MS66 condition they are really scarce with less than a hundred known and none being finer. A very difficult coin to say the least in MS66 condition.
