This coin is a little easier to locate than many others in the series. The coin has spent a lot of time in an album at a slight angle as evidenced by the dark blue rim toning at the top of the obverse indicating the uneven pressure applied to insert the coin into the album. Total PCGS AU population is 78 with 13 in AU 55 and 31 graded higher. The BCCS rating is R2.
Barber Dimes with mintages under 1 million are usually some of the scarcer dates. The 1892-O has a mintage of about 3.8 million, therefore, it is definitely not the lowest mintage and at the same time it is far from being the most common. However, it is scarce in Uncirculated condition, especially in MS65 and higher. In MS66 it is very scarce and in MS67 or higher it is considered rare.
