To build the Basic Set of Proposed National Issues, we took the Design set and added some rare mulings from the Immune Columbia series, a 1787 Immunis Columbia, and a pair of the Confederatio patterns (of the additions, only the 1787 Immunis Columbia is readily available). This is an intriguing set where many of the coins are directly tied to other series through die linkage. For instance, the Vermon Auctori/1785 Immune Columbia muling is also collected as part of the Vermont Copper coins. And, the 1786 Immunis Columbia is tied to the New Jersey coppers (when muled with a shield reverse). The inter-marriages make for fascinating research, above and beyond the joys of owning and collecting these rarities.

Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
