Considered the King of the Ikes. The 1972 type 2 is defined by the Caribean Islands seen on the reverse picture of the Earth. The islands are not well defined in the type 2 example. This particular coin has frosty luster with a hint of bronze toning.

The type 3 has the Carribean Islands beneath and to the left of Florida. The overall relief and details are strengthened. This example has a slightly frosty luster with a hint of overall bronze colored toning. Above average strike. A few light marks.
