Is it possible that the Memorial reverse was introduced over 60 years ago? Yes, it's true! If you were around in 1959 then you remember the rumors that all the new Lincoln cents were being recalled because they wouldn't stack. Not true, of course, but still another tiny segment of our rich numismatic history. Today the 1959 to date Lincoln cents are the launching pad for a new generation of collectors.
