About this set: The Sunnywood Collection has assembled a magnificent group of shield nickels including high-grade mint state, proof and pattern coinage, as well as many gem quality examples of Fivaz-Stanton die varieties. Although many of our most spectacular coins reside in non-PCGS holders, we are listing some of our nicest PCGS-graded proof shield nickels here. In this series, the collection has focused primarily on rainbow-toned examples with reflective mirrors wherever possible, but some beautiful white coins are included as well. Some of our other (non-PCGS) proofs include an 1866 Rays in PR67 with spectacular color and mirrors, an 1868 in PR67 Cameo, and a beautiful pair of matched target-toned 1876 & 1877 PR67's. The collection also includes a previously unknown 1867 No Rays proof struck with the reverse hub of J-507 (star points to center of first "A" in AMERICA). This coin is currently believed to be unique.
