About this set: a complete set of 65FBL,66,66FBL, and 67 graded coins which is made up of mostly bright white coins which I have assembled over the last 15 years. I have been taught over the years to buy the coin and not the holder. In recent years and largely because of registry set collecting mostly the opposite has been true. Although I do not disagree with collecting from a perspective of numerical grade it is obvious to anyone collecting Franklin Half Dollars that 99% of the ms67 and ms66 coins are unattractively toned mint set coins. My best set is by far not my highest rated set and some of my lower value coins that are bright white were almost impossible to find and are in my opinion much more rare coins than even a 1953-S MS65FBL. Have fun collecting this set. It is quite challenging to complete this set with beautiful coins whether toned or not and some of the best coins are not the most expensive ones. Keep your eyes on the look out for those great ones that are few and far between, but they are out there!
