David Hall: The 1935 Philadelphia Texas is a relatively common silver commemorative coin in all grades up to and including MS67. It is really only rare in near perfect Gem MS68 condition. The were 9,996 coins originally distributed at the $1.50 issue price, and most of those were saved as this issue is actually all but nonexsistant in grades below MS62. The typical specimen has either frosty or somewhat satiny luster with varying degrees of eye appeal.
