The old Whitman coin albums of yesteryear broke down the Walking Liberty set of 1916-47 into two sets, the 1916-40 issues and the 1941-47 dates. Thus, the "Short Set" was born, and it's more popular today than ever before. Many collectors absolutely love this series in Gem condition, yet they can't afford the 1919-D, 1921-S and a few other dates in top condition, so this is a great collecting option. As this is being written a couple of dates haven't been certified in MS67, but a beautifully matched MS66 set will do just fine!
