These were the smallest silver coins of the series and worth 5 U.S. cents at the time, with the first years of issue struck on Mercury dime planchets. The key dates are the 1903-S, 1909-S and 1915-S. The denomination is one of the “easier” U.S.-Philippines series to complete, but still an achievement in its own right.
