About this set:  Comments: My son's first collection of coins: We started in 2003 on his seventh birthday. We agreed on the half dollar because it was easier on my eyes (those small pennies I just don't see as clearly as I used to). It has been fun working with Caleb on this set; thanks to the many collectors and dealers that we have met along the way. Special thanks to Philip Shattuck, Dave & Nick Shelton, Larry Shapiro, Mark Di Lauro, Richard Green, Michael Zerbini, Ray Daniel and Sylvester Lindermann. Even though we have never met any of the people mentioned in person, their friendship and willingness to help another collector of Kennedy Half Dollars has been outstanding. I hope that my son continues to meet people of this caliber within our hobby. Now, it is onto the Variety part of the series.
