About this set: In my opinion, there are 4 problems with this coin: (1) the government did not discontinue the dollar bill and thus force everyone to use the Sac, (2) the size is not in proportion to other coins (in an attempt to be backward-compatible with the SBA), (3) the overly complicated mixture of metals results in an attractive color at first, but this color quickly deteriorates and tones poorly, and (4) the infant makes the obverse too busy. I still would like to see us to replace dollar bills with coins. Most of Europe uses the euro, the highest denomination coin of which is a whopping 2 euros. We in this country effectively only use quarters or less, or about 1/7 the amount that Europe uses. I received a "raw" ICG 2000-P Goodacre Presentation, #3026 (probably MS67), on 2/26/03, but I decided to keep this intact in the original ICG slab, so, my set is effectively 100% complete.
