About this set: I got hooked on these early designs just a couple years ago, as a backlash against the low relief modern coinage. Strange as some of the stories are with coins of this series, there is some of the best artwork put out by the mint, the likes of which apparently is not to be produced again. My goal for this set at this time is to get coins in "bang for the buck" grades, and not pay high premiums for marginal increases in quality. These are also quite fun to photograph since the designs are so varied and many are quite photogenic.
