About this set: A type set in which every coin is a star. In my quest to fill this set, I join the ranks of prospectors, pirates, nobility, and Olympians in seeking the metal of the Pharoahs.

This set is my primary goal right now, though I've been secondarily working on an Indian $2.5 set and a stockpile of Liberty $5s. I've sent off a Type I and a Type III gold dollar to get graded. I still need a Type II gold dollar and the $3. I've got one each of Liberty and Indian $10 in NGC, though eventually I'll get one of each in PCGS to fill out this entry in the PCGS Set Registry.

I'm moving forward, or perhaps backwards, since I seem to be starting off with the high denominations. I'll get the little ones soon enough.

Yay! I have achieved penultimate mediocrity, ranking dead last on Christmas 2008. Not that I have any bad coins in my set, so much as my not having any at all, excepting a single, lonely Saint. It's a beautiful coin, but it's all alone. I must rectify this in the new year.
