Expert Comments

David Hall: The 1927-S is scarce in higher circulated grades, rare in mint state, and very rare in Gem condition. This issue is a little bit easier to find than the 1923-S and 1928-S. While strike can be a problem, for the 1927-S strike doesn't seem to be as bad as on the 1923-S and 1927-S. There are some very frosty mint state specimens as well as many toned examples.
