This past week, Collectors Universe CEO Michael Haynes was featured in the "State of the Industry" segment. He was interviewed by Coin Chat's Debbie Bradley (a great interviewer who has done all of the interviews with PCGS people), and offered a variety of insights relating to the health of the collecting industry, PCGS's role, and the future of numismatics.

Michael brought up some very interesting points about the U.S. Mint's recent programs, especially the State quarter and Presidential dollar programs. To say these programs have been successful is a huge understatement; they are responsible for infusing our hobby with millions of new collectors.
