Important Update About PCGS Services
First Strike® designation is available on qualifying coins for an additional $14 per coin. This fee covers the cost of the special First Strike insert and return of mint packaging if applicable. To qualify for First Strike, coins must be sent to PCGS or sent in a mint-sealed package postmarked within 30 days of the original release date. Cut off dates to qualify are below. For coins sent to PCGS prior to the cut off, customers are encouraged to submit coins in their acrylic capsules only.
2008 First Day of Issue
Special First Day of Issue inserts are available through the PCGS Bulk Submissions program for Presidential Dollar coins postmarked on their release date. Coins will also qualify after the release date if they are housed in original, mint-sealed boxes with a white seal bearing the name of the President and the official release date. Such boxes must also contain the date stamp of the Mint inspector. The same rules will apply to future Presidential Dollars unless the Mint makes changes in their packaging and sealing. Each order must contain a minimum of 100 coins (unless otherwise specified).

SPECIAL INSERTS
Effective July 1, 2008, special inserts (States Flags, Signature Series, Satin Finish, etc.) will only be available to PCGS Authorized Dealers through the Bulk Submissions program and are not available to Collectors Club members.
The only special insert available to Collectors Club Members is the First Strike label and cannot be submitted through the Bulk service.
These changes are being made to speed up and streamline processing and turnaround times at PCGS. Any bulk submissions received by PCGS or postmarked before July 1 will be processed under the old Bulk Submission program rules.
