2008 First Day of Issue
Special First Day of Issue inserts are available through the PCGS Bulk Submissions program for Presidential Dollar coins postmarked on their release date. Coins will also qualify after the release date if they are housed in original, mint-sealed boxes with a white seal bearing the name of the President and the official release date. Such boxes must also contain the date stamp of the Mint inspector. The same rules will apply to future Presidential Dollars unless the Mint makes changes in their packaging and sealing. Each order must contain a minimum of 100 coins.
First Day of Issue Covers sold by the U.S. Mint, each containing two coins, can also receive First Day of Issue inserts. Coins will be removed from the holder and graded separately. The original shipping boxes need not be sealed, but the covers must be submitted intact and unopened. A minimum of 50 covers may be submitted through the Bulk Submissions program.

Importance of Declared Values
Please keep in mind that the declared value section is crucial in filling out the submission forms properly. The values you declare for each coin affect the service type
and shipping fees. Each coin submitted must have an individual value on the submission form. Please follow the declared value rules stated on the submission form.
Failure to comply with the stated rules can delay your order. PCGS appreciates your attention to this matter.
Coin Numbers
Submissions received without coin numbers will cause delays in order processing.
Signatures Required On All Submission Forms
Failure to sign your submission form will cause significant delays in processing your order.
Packages
When mailing packages to PCGS, please be sure to tape the entire package. By taping the package well, you'll reduce the chances of tampering during shipping and prevent coins slipping through openings in the box.
