The "Godless" Presidential Dollars
If you've been following media reports lately, the hottest things in numismatics are the new Presidential Dollars that lack the normal edge lettering. These errors are unusual not only from a numismatic standpoint, but because these coins are both dateless and "Godless". Click here to read more.

Hesselgesser Collection - The Number One Current Finest Early Dollars with Bolender & Bowers/Borckardt Varieties, Circulation Strikes (1794-1803) Set
The Hesselgesser collection of early dollars was on display at the last Long Beach show. If you were unable to visit the show, you might like to see this incredible collection online. All the coins are listed with Trueview images. There are 118 coins required in the set. Dr. Hesselgesser has 101 coins and is 87% complete. That's an amazing feat in itself, but what is really amazing about this set is the quality. The set has a weighted GPA of 51.19. 77 of Dr. Hesselgesser's coins are AU, a remarkable achievement considering the age of these historical silver dollars. This is the first set graded using PCGS's new variety program for Bolender and Bowers/Borckardt numbers. Click here to enjoy!

V2 Hot Tip
Did you know that you can add coins to the Registry that might not constitute a "set?" The Collectors Showcase allows you to "show-off" your world, toned, errors and a number of other types of coins. Just like in the Registry, you can add set and coin descriptions and images. Give it a try! Log in to My Set Registry and click the Showcases link on the right menu bar.

Our Readers Ask

Question: Will PCGS grade and certify the plain edge Washington Dollars with Error Designation?

Answer: Yes, and we've already done so. These unusual error coins will become a major variety in the U.S. coins series and will receive a "No Edge Lettering" designation.
