PCGS Set Registry SM Spotlight

The Cajun Collection - The Number One Current Finest Walking Liberty Half Dollar Set, Circulation Strikes (1916-1947)
The Cajun Collection of Walking Liberty Half dollars has received multiple awards, which include the "Best of the Registry" for 2003-2004 and the "Best Classic Set" for 2005-2006. The quality of the coins in this set is phenomenal and it includes a 1921-D MS66 and a 1943-P MS68! Many coins in the set are the highest graded for the date. The owner of the collection has been working on the set for many years. The result is a collection that is nearly unbeatable. Each coin in the set is accompanied by a beautiful image. Click here to see for yourself what can be achieved by passion and perseverance.

V2 Hot Tip
Deletions of sold coins from your sets can be achieved in several different ways. If you wish to retire your set and delete your inventory to free it up for others to use, then in My Sets, go to the set you want to retire and use the link "Delete Set & Inventory." This will remove all the coins from your inventory, but will keep the retired set in All Time Finest if at least 90% complete. If you have sold coins, but want to keep the set current in the Registry, check off the coins you wish to delete and click "Delete checked coins from My Inventory."

Changes to PL Morgan Dollar Sets
Effective 3/19/07, the Prooflike Morgan dollar sets now require coins graded either PL or DMPL. There are some exceptions for coins that do not come PL or are extremely rare. The list of these coins can be found in the set descriptions:
Morgan Dollars Prooflike Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1878-1921)
Morgan Dollars Prooflike with Varieties, Circulation Strikes (1878-1921)
This new policy will certainly encourage members to pursue the ultimate Prooflike Morgan dollar set!

2007 Additions
We are currently in the process of adding 2007 coinage to all U.S. "to date" sets. With the exception of the type sets, these coins will be optional until early 2008. Please allow us several weeks to complete these updates.

Our Readers Ask

Question: Do the PCGS graders automatically check for PL and DMPL surfaces on Morgan dollars or does the submitter have to ask for this designation if the coin qualifies?

Answer: Our graders make those determinations automatically as they grade the coins. The same can be said for any prefix (MS, PR, PL, etc) or suffix (BN, RB, RD, CA, PL, FS, FB, FBL, etc).
