PCGS Set Registry(SM) Spotlight

Kert Phillips - The Number One Finest Indian Cent Set, Circulation Strikes (1859-1909)
Kert Phillips has been the recipient of the Best of the Registry award for 2004, 2005, and 2006 for his proof Indian Cent set. This year, he won a top award for Best Classic Set. There is good reason for these accolades. The set has a weighted rating of 68.18 with nearly every coin graded either full red or cameo. A look at Kert's set reveals a large number of "Top Pops" including the single finest graded 1872, 1884, and 1885. Congratulations!

Announcements

Quarterly Collectors Club Grading Special
In early 2007, the Mint introduced a new series of Presidential Dollar coins which featured a re-introduction of edge lettering, something collectors hadn't seen on coins since 1933. So, to commemorate this event, PCGS will accept any lettered edge U.S. coin for this quarter's Collectors Club Special. Possibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Half Cents and Large Cents (1793-1795)
  • Half Dollars (1794-1836)
  • Silver Dollars (1794-1803)
  • Saint Gaudens Double Eagles (1907-1933... yes, we'd be thrilled to certify your 1933 Double Eagle)
  • George Washington and John Adams Presidential Dollars (plain edge errors excepted)

This offer is valid for all Collectors Club members.
