Our Readers Ask

Question of the Week by Don Cannon:
How much rotation must a coin have to be considered rotated and noted on the PCGS holder?

Answer:
PCGS considers a coin with a rotation of 30% or more a rotated die. Rotated dies can be sent in under "Mint Error Service." Coins with a 30% or more rotation will receive a label indicating "Rotated Die" and we will list the approximate rotation on the label as well.
