Bulk submissions are a great way for dealers and collectors club members to submit a high volume of coins for a discounted fee. It’s a very simple process, but you must make sure your order meets the qualifications for bulk.
Before submitting through bulk, you must fill out and return the PCGS Bulk Submission Agreement form. This agreement is put on file and is valid one year from the date you sign it. You can mail it to PCGS, fax it (949-567-1357), or attach it in an email to PCGS customer service (info@pcgs.com).
For an order to be eligible for Bulk Submissions there must be a minimum of 100 coins with no more than four different date, denomination, and mint mark combinations. The current price for bulk is $10/coin.
With bulk submissions, you have the option of listing a minimum grade (grade that you will accept or higher from PCGS). If you list a minimum grade, only the coins meeting or exceeding the minimum grade will be placed in holders. Below is the current pricing for orders with a minimum grade listed:
- If 60% of coins in the order meet or exceed the minimum grade, the price is $10/coin for those meeting or exceeding the minimum grade and no charge for those not making the minimum grade
- If less than 60% of the coins in the order meet or exceed the minimum grade, the price is $10/coin for those making the minimum grade and $5/coin for those not making the minimum grade.
It is extremely important to follow the bulk submission rules carefully. If you fail to comply with these rules (such as more than 4 types of coins), your order will be returned to you ungraded and you will be charged a $75 handling fee plus return shipping fees. This will be charged to your credit card you list on the submission form. If an alternate method of payment is selected, the order will be returned upon receipt of the $75 payment.
