David Hall: The 1930 is fairly common in all circulated grades, just slightly scarcer than the 1935 to 1937 issues. In mint state, it is semi-common, not as common as the 1935 to 1937 Philadelphia issues, but much more common than the earlier P mints. A number of original rolls were undoubtedly saved at the time of issue. It is not a difficult coin to locate in Gem condition. Most examples are very well struck and luster is usually very frosty and quite attractive.
