Tony Mitchell Silver State Coin

Expert Comments

Ron Guth: The 1876-CC Quarter Dollar is one of the more plentiful CC-Mint coins.  Considering the many rarities produced by this Mint, an affordable CC-mint coin is a boon to the many collectors who want one.  In addition, the 1876-CC Quarter Dollar can be found in nice condition.  Mint State examples are most plentiful in MS63 and MS64.  Quality-minded collectors can choose from a very small number of MS67 examples at the highest end.

The quality of production for this date is excellent.  The luster is usually frosty, the strike is good, and several examples display exceptional toning and eye appeal.
