The 1841 Dime is a relatively common coin among the No Stars Dimes. Several dozen Mint State examples are known, mostly in MS63 and MS64. The best examples certified by PCGS are at the MS66 level; NGC has graded a single MS68.
The "No Drapery" 1841 Dime remains the most interesting variety of this year. On this variety, the drapery was ground offf the coin by excessive polishing. That this was intended to be a With Drapery Dime can be proven by the upright shield, which is only seen on With Drapery Dimes.
Fully struck 1841 Dimes can be elusive, as many examples show weakness on the denticles, especially on the obverse.
