Expert Comments

David Akers (1975/88): The 1830 is a very scarce date (as are all of the six dates of this type), but I have seen a fair number of extremely choice specimens in the MS65 class. Like the 1829 and 1831, the 1830 is usually well struck, at least more so than the typical 1832, 1833 or 1834.
