The 1836 Dime is a common date, with ample supplies of both circulated and Mint State examples to satisfy most collector demand. The strike quality on this date is above-average; only rarely will the stars appear weak. Most Mint State examples fall into the MS63 to MS64 range. Gems are scarce and anything above MS65 is rare. The finest certified example is a single PCGS MS67+.
