The proof Liberty nickel series will always be popular, in part because of the time period, in part because of the noble Miss Liberty, but mainly because the coins in the series have a famous sibling, the 1913, of which there are only five known specimens. We will consider the set complete without 1913, but what a magnificent addition to any collection this classic rarity would be! Aside from the 1913 most of the coins are about equal in rarity, making proof Liberty nickels a highly collectible series.
