About this set: This set was originally started with a focus on six full step nickels with a slight bias on step count versus grade. Since the current registry does not distinguish between 5 versus 6 full steps, many “full step” coins have been added in higher grades. Coins were selected based on eye appeal and strike.

This set includes the following pop 1’s: 1941S, 1942 Type 1, and 1946S. This set also contains all of the rare varieties: 1939 Doubled Monticello - MS66FS, 1942 D over horizontal D in MS65, 1943 Double Die - MS66FS, 1943/2 - MS66FS, 1945-P Double Die - MS66, 1946-D over inverted D - MS65FS, 1949-D/S - MS65FS,1954-S/D - MS65. In addition the rarest coin in the entire Jefferson series the 1964 SMS MS68FS is not yet listed since PCGS no longer lists this coin in the variety sets.
