Should this series start in 1965 or 1968? After all, there were no proof nickels in 1965, 1966, and 1967. Some collectors put the Special Mint Set coins from those early years in this set and others ignore them and begin in 1968. Either way it’s an interesting set with some great-looking cameo coins in the later years.
