How to Submit Coins to PCGS

Originally, coins were submitted to the service through 32 charter PCGS authorized dealers. Today, PCGS accepts submissions via a network of over 1100 PCGS authorized dealers throughout the United States, Canada, and London, Zurich and Tokyo.

Coins are insured and shipped to PCGS via mail or expess mail. It is the responsibility of submitting dealers to screen coins to determine their suitability for grading. Another important aspect of this service involves proper documentation and careful packaging. This step is designed to ensure that PCGS submission procedures are maintained for the protection of all coins.

All PCGS dealers are independent contractors who are responsible for market-making in PCGS coins and any other contractual undertaking with their customers.

PCGS Collectors Club

With its screening process, the PCGS Authorized Dealer Network is still the best way for collectors to submit their coins for grading. However, those who live far from a dealer, or simply prefer to submit directly, may chose to take advantage of the PCGS Collectors Club. Membership in the club includes Direct Grading Submission Privilages as well as other valuable services and information. for information on how join the Collectors Club, please contact a PCGS Customer Representative
