Ma Tak Wo has been a major player in the Asian numismatic scene for more than three decades, first as an avid collector of Chinese coins (including Hong Kong and Macau) and paper money, and then as one of the principals of the Taisei group of companies, which organized the highly successful Hong Kong and Singapore coin shows and auctions. John Dannreuther grew up in the rare coin business. His father ran trade paper ads in the 1950s as V.J. Dannreuther and Sons. After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in chemistry, John went back into the coin business, becoming a full-time dealer in 1973. Ron Gillio is prehaps the best known coin dealer in the world. He started buying and selling coins in 1961 and since 1970, he has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia buying and selling U.S. and world coins and currency. In his career, Ron has handled many rarities, including two of the most famous U.S. coin rarities, the 1913 Liberty nickel and the 1894-S dime. Ron Gillio has owned auction companies in the United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Ron Guth is a licensed Certified Public Accountant who has been involved professionally in numismatics for nearly forty years as a collector, dealer, researcher, and writer. Ron Howard has been a collector/hobbyist since 1959. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi in 1970 and became a professional numismatist in 1972. John Love has handled more Morgan and Peace dollars than anyone in the world. He is quite simply "Mr. Silver Dollar." From his shop in Cut Bank, Montana, John began selling silver dollars in the early 1960s. In the 1970s, he was the world's largest silver dollar dealer and was known for two things, selling very high quality and correctly graded silver dollars, and being able to handle exceptionally large deals.

Over the years, John Love has been involved in most of the largest and most famous silver dollar deals. He was one of the three distributors of the incredible 484,000 coin LaVere Redfield dollar hoard in the 1970s. Joel Rettew, Sr. has been a professional coin dealer since 1953. He was one of David Hall's first employers (David calls Joel “one of my major mentors”) and is a numismatic speaker, lecturer, teacher, and author. Greg, who was born and raised in Pasadena, California, was introduced to the world of numismatics by his uncle, Gene Calvert. From these initial experiences Greg soon developed into a collector, but equally quickly to develop was his interest in the business and trading side of the rare coin market.

During his high school years, Greg learned that he was able to make extra money buying and selling coins. Gregory Roberts has been Chief Executive Officer and a Director of A-Mark since July 2005. P. Scott Rubin has been an avid coin collector for over 50 years. From 1991 through 1997, he served as President of the Numismatic Bibliomania Society (NBS), on which he currently remains as a board member. In addition to NBS, Scott is an member of the American Numismatic Association , American Numismatic Society , Colonial Collectors Coin Club, Early American Coppers, Numismatic Literary Guild and the Rittenhouse Society. Mike Sherman came to Collectors Universe in 1999 after serving 18 years as General Manager of the nation's largest rare coin wholesaler. Laura Sperber became a full-time coin dealer in 1979. Today she is Co-President of Legend Numismatics. He did some vest pocket dealing in the 1970s and 1980s while pursuing a corporate career in Information Technology and Management. He was a Senior Vice President at a multi-billion corporation until 1995 when he founded an Internet software company. He sold that company in 2002 and became a full time dealer and the owner of Premium Numismatics. While at Premium Numismatics he specialized in pre-1840 U.S. coins.
