Early American Coins and Tokens Basic Set (1616-1820)

Number of Required Items

Current Finest Possible Set Rating

This is the basic Colonial set expanded to include different dates and denominations within the various types of early American coins and tokens. It’s a tough set full of rarities: New England Shilling, Willow Tree Shilling, Higley Copper, Standish Barry Threepence, Albany Church Penny. Also included are some of the 1792 pattern coins, made while the U.S. Mint was gearing up for regular coinage production. But, don’t let the monster rarities scare you off. It only takes one coin to compete in this set and there are plenty of options for collectors with limited budgets.

Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
