Liberty Seated Dimes with Major Varieties, Circulation Strikes and Proof (1837-1891)

For circulation strike coins the Liberty Seated dime series is filled with key dates and tremendous condition rarities. It is also filled with wonderful values, as many low population rarities in MS65 or better can be purchased for a few thousand dollars. The proofs offer more challenge as many issues are rare. PCGS has only certified one example of many of the dates and zero examples of a few others! Starting with the incredibly pretty 1837 No Stars and continuing on for two decades, there are only two proofs that are relatively easy to locate (1856 and 1857) and even those are great rarities when compared to most U. S. coins. It might take a lifetime to complete this set, but what an accomplishment it would be!
