10x6 Large letters. B-3, BB-71, R.2. Bowers-Borckardt Die State III. (Formally encapsolated in a NCS holder, VG details repaired, inproperly cleaned). Coin is thickly hairlined with steel-gray fields and pearl-gray devices. Appears to be carefully smoothed to remove marks. The reverse peripheral legend is faint, the types are well outlined and the portrait has some remaining hair detail.

1798 Small Eagle, 15 Stars 6868 1798 $1 F12 5 101 5115

1798 Large Eagle 6873 1798 $1 VF35 268 664 283744
Plenty of luster remaining. Well worn, but within grade parameters.
1798 5 Stripes 6874 1798 $1 XF40 9 11 1425
1798 Knob 9 40008 1798 $1 XF45 1 1013
Very tough coin to find. Only a few have made it into a PCGS holder. 5 Stripes, knob 9. B-6b, BB-96, R.3, Die state 5. This piece seems to have characteristics of both die states 4 and 5. The die cracks of state 5 are present on both sides, yet the reverse has not been relapped. Both of the headless arrow shafts are visible, rather than being invisibe from die lapping as one would expect. This coin has considerable luster for the grade. Wear is consistant with XF-45. Pale amber and iridescent toning throughout. CAC sticker.

1799 Irregular Date-13 St 6880 1799 $1 VG10 3 36 460
This coin has few light rim marks, none major. Wear is consistant with VG-10. Violet irridescence on even brown toning. A few very dark toned spots visible only when viewed straight on. A bit of luster remains. Previously housed in a NGC F-12 holder (I think the PCGS VG-10 is a bit more accurate, perhaps NGC was considering market grading, perfectly understandable).

1801 6893 1801 $1 AU50 31 54 3670
B-1, BB-211, R3. Bowers Die State II. This is the only 1801 variety with arrowhead beneath "U" in United,

Narrow Date. Crossed from an ANACS XF-40 holder.
1802 Wide Date 40089 1802 $1 N1 10
Although this example is a problem coin, it is a very difficult coin to find in any condition. This coin has unnatural luster from whizzing. Small rim ding at 9 o'clock. Obverse has been lightly filed near 10:30.
